The church gardening and maintenance team resumes this week, meeting at 10am. Any help gratefully received, followed by refreshments.On Tuesday at 1.30pm, the Mothers Union meets in the hall when the speaker will talk about the remake of Beamish Museum. Everyone welcome, this is not a members' only event.Looking further ahead, we are holding what we hope will be the first of a regular monthly bingo session, in the hall on September 13 at 2pm.

Our popular Cafe Church is back next Sunday, August 21, the tenth Sunday after Trinity.Held as usual in the hall, food is served from 10.15 to 10.45, ready for this different style of worship to start at 11am.We are also planning more social events, including bingo sessions in the hall, and have established links with MHA, a Christian organisation working to combat loneliness, especially amongst older people.
