The fabulous Lumos Live appeared again at St Edward's Church on 27th April 2024. This time we heard tunes from the Beatles. The church looked stunning and a great time was had by all. We hope to see Lumos again in the Autumn!
Our Parish administrator is at it again together with the Churchwarden’s son, James Quinn. They are jumping out of a plane (approx 10,000 feet) to raise money for the wonderful Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. Your support for this would be greatly appreciated. The Just Giving link is: https://www.justgiving.com/page/angela-butt-1712046605425?newPage=trueThere will also be paper forms available from the end of April. Thank you all so much in advance for your kind support for this wonderful charity.
Record attendance at today's Messy Church meant for an exciting day for all. We had 50 children arrive at today's Messy Church - where they had great fun learning about the bible, and making crafts. A great day for all.Look out for more dates advertised!
A massive thank you to everyone who kindly donated money or Easter Eggs to our Easter Egg Appeal for our worthy causes. The Easter Eggs went to two of the charities we support at St Edward's - Smile and Lennox Children's Cancer Fund. The Lennox Team met with us at Queen's Hospital, Romford where we dropped the eggs off to the Cancer Ward.Such worthy causes, and we are so glad we can support the children and families who are in hospital over the Easter period. We are thinking of you all.
