All Saints’ Sunday This will be an extra-special event this year (30th October), as we shall be joined by members of the Good Shepherd. As part of the two parishes’ working more closely together, they asked if they might join us, cancelling their own services that day. Sharing together This month’s discussion group will meet at the Vicarage on Thursday 27th at 7.30, when the topic will be the ‘Parables of Jesus’. Look some up, and come along!. This includes an enhanced sound system and also a more professional streaming system, with fixed cameras, so we don’t have to rely on Fr Julian’s phone! NOTICES Gift Day Today, as well as celebrating Harvest, we have an opportunity to contribute to the work and witness of Holy Trinity through our annual Gift Day. Please try to be as generous as you can, as Holy Trinity, like you all, is facing financial strain. Sound/Streaming System. Work begins tomorrow on upgrading our ancient sound system and installing streaming facilities. Because of this, the midweek masses will be in the vestry. Good Shepherd, Furnham Fr Julian will begin having informal oversight of this parish from Oct 1st, for an initial trial period of three months. Please pray for the two parishes and for Fr Julian. Surplus Fruit and Veg If you have any green tomatoes, apples or the like that can be made into chutneys, Fr Julian would be glad of them for the provisions stall at the Christmas Fair! Coffee Morning Many thanks and congratulations to Wendy B, Cheryl and Liz for organising the recent coffee morning, which has raised over £470! Well done! And thank you, all who supported it in any way. Cover Fr Julian thanks all who ‘held the fort’ in his absence. He is involved in all day training on Thursday and Friday this week and so will not be available for parish business during the day time. Because of this, there will be no mass on Thursday.
