Lend With Care repayments: We have received a number of repayments this month from Adnan in Bethlehem, Tin in Vietnam, Darwin, Anabelda and Lisseth in Ecuador. We began helping Dixie in August and she has now been able to make a number of repayments. They are all grateful for our support in helping them to set up their own businesses. We will soon have received enough repayments to enable us to fund more loans supporting more people wanting to improve their lives. Thank you for your support. Thank you We welcome Fr Mark Jackson as our celebrant at the Parish Mass this morning. Fr Mark assists at the Good Shepherd, Furnham, and has swapped with Fr Julian, and we are most grateful to him for coming this morning. A tremendous thank you to Wendy B and her team of helpers who worked so hard before, during and after the Toy Sale at the beginning of the month, raising £130. Well done! Holy Trinity is offering its hall as a ‘warm space’ on Fridays between 1pm and 5pm. Bishop Michael will formally be installed as Bishop of Bath and Wells this Saturday 12th November. He already is our diocesan bishop, but the service at Wells (ticket only, but online as well) sees him installed in the Bishop’s Throne (kathedra – where ‘cathedral’ comes from). It was lovely to see so many join us last Sunday from our sister church of the Good Shepherd. Fr Julian will be celebrating their Parish Mass there next Sunday 13th, but will be here for the 8am Mass and 4.00pm Evening Prayer. NOTICES Sound/Streaming System. Hopefully… The sound system worked well last Sunday, and following a visit from the engineers during the past week, hopefully, the streaming side of things will now be fully functioning! Traidcraft Cards Cards are available in the Hall after the Parish Mass today, if you haven’t already purchased yours.. All Saints’ Sunday This will be an extra-special event as next Sunday we shall be joined by members of the Good Shepherd. As part of the two parishes’ working more closely together, they asked if they might join us, cancelling their own services that day. This is a lovely and generous gesture and we look forward to welcoming them. Sharing together This month’s discussion group will meet at the Vicarage on Thursday 27th at 7.30, when the topic will be the ‘Parables of Jesus’. Look some up, and come along!.
