1st November 2022Our Churchwarden Rob Downes, who has been a faithful member of St. Giles' congregation for over 40 years, during which time he has served the parish in many roles, has married his long-time partner Barry Cooper. We all wish them every happiness for the future.
22nd August 2022In a burst of post-Covid energy, St. Giles has staged its second major exhibition this year in aid of church funds. This time, the subject has been the work of the wonderful artist and children's author Beatrix Potter. This event was the brainchild of a very good friend to St. Giles' Church, Margaret Edwards of Poyner's the draper, who is a Beatrix Potter enthusiast. Margaret very kindly lent items from her collection for a display to delight young and old alike.
