Grey Peys & Bacon is a simple, humble food from the Midlands, traditionally served in Lent.Rev'd Jim, who's previous Parish was in the West Midlands, will be cooking a big pot of it (and a vegan alternative) and serving it free to anyone who'd like some on Shrove Tuesday, 13th February, between 16:00 and 17:30 in the hall and St Bart's Church.Plus our lovely Knit & Natter group have prepared some simple craft activities to do as well. All are welcome!
Mark the holy season of Lent with this gently interactive service, including the Imposition of Ashes (having the sign of the cross marked on your forehead with ash).Starting at 18:00 and lasting about an hour it should finish in time for those wanting to do Valentines Day stuff afterwards!
