As you are probably aware, the church buildings are closed, in line with churches nationwide, in response to the government instructions for what is pretty close to a lock-down. This is likely to last several weeks, including Holy Week, which will be really strange.Responding to this has been difficult, but one of the ways we are trying to do this is to improve our online presence .For regular updates please visit our parish website www.surbitonchurch.org.uk https://surbitonchurch.org.uk/We will also be updating our page on A Church Near You with current information and service sheets.Sermons can be found on St Andrew and St Mark. If you haven’t tried it out, then this is an informal way, where, through the discussion and informality, we actually draw closer to the Scripture (God willing). And you also get a coffee ready, smelling beautiful for you when you arrive. While the discussion will be mostly pitched at an adult level, I recognise that there’s more we can do for children: in this case, we will have a colouring sheet for children, of the scene in question, which is, again, about Jesus getting baptised: this time from John’s account. So that’s at 9.15am at St Mark’s.
