Following January's storm damage it was identified that the remaining tree trunk was diseased. Harlow Council's contractor has therefore removed the tree and will soon grind out the stump. We hope to have a new tree planted in the vicinity later this year. Thanks to Harlow Council for undertaking these works so promptly. We will now be able to host our Easter Egg Hunt safely. The damaged handrail and fence should be replaced during March 2024.Many thanks to all who removed the cut up sections from the storm damaged tree - virtually all the sections were removed. We hope they will be put to good use.
We have two Commenwealth War Graves in our churchyard. Both date from the First World War.An application has been approved to erect a plaque near the churchyard entrance and we are currently awaiting installation.A short history of the two fallen soldiers is attached.

If so, please help yourself, but take care as the pieces are heavy. Sorry, but these have now all been removed within a month of originaly reported.
