Fantastic news we have now opened up the North Door. This thirteenth century door was turned into a window in around 1698. It was later totally blocked up by the Victorians.
This week all the iron slabs in nave, were successfully lifted, in the presence of archaeologists and iron slab conservator. The slabs will be taken up to London to the conservators studio, to be treated for the first time in 40 years.
