Like other parishes in the benefice, we are supporting the House of Bread with donations of non-perishable groceries or cleaning materials. Many thanks to those people who leave groceries in the House of Bread box in Church.
At the moment, I am busy with my Christmas shopping. I do enjoy it, but I always agonise over what to buy for people. It is so easy to get it wrong. Many think that we give presents at Christmas because the three wise men brought presents to Jesus!
Our next meeting will be at 7-30pm on Wednesday 17th December when Jeff Bates will talk about The Royal Gardens at Windsor. We meet every third Wednesday of the month with guest speakers, competitions, refreshments and a sales table.
