Community and Global EngagementPoints are awarded for each question answered and if you get enough points you qualify for an award.St John's now holds the Bronze award and we're looking at what we need to do to progress to Silver.
Our Third Thursday services continue each month on (unsurprisingly!) the third Thursday!Join us each month for a short, informal time of worship, some entertainment (we've had bingo, making pretzels from pipe cleaners and a quiz on fruit in recent months) and a light afternoon tea.Everyone is welcome - our youngest worshipper so far is just 18 months old but we won't say how old our oldest are!Future dates for 2023 - put them in your diary now!July 20thAugust 17thSeptember 21stOctober 19thNovember 16thDecember 21st
From Sunday June 4th 2023 St John's church will be open between 10am and 4pm (3pm in winter) for anyone to visit at any time.Please do drop in and see the building and spend a few minutes enjoying the peace of our beautiful church.
A wonderful celebration for 2 young people, Lily from Chevington and Harriet from Amble, who were confirmed by Bishop Helen- Ann on May 14th 2023.Wonderful to see the church full of people from both parishes and to be joined by clergy from other parishes in the Deanery.
