Burnmoor Cricket Club Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September.The Scarecrow Trail is a tradition, where people or groups all over Bournmoor make a Scarecrow. They position their Scarecrow on show for the 2 day Scarecrow trail. They position their Scarecrow on show for the 2 day Scarecrow trail.This year the trail starts at 11.30am and finishes at 3pm each day. Follow it and see if you can find all of the Scarecrows in the village. It is also a lovely opportunity for a stroll and a chat to people in your community.
Saturday 3rd JuneAn Afternoon at Lambton Castle is a Summer event for St Barnabas' Church. Thanks to the kind permission of The Earl of Durham, this is the second year this event has been held here.Tickets include a buffet, a free drink and musical entertainment. All of this is organised by the members of St Barnabas' Church. The weather was glorious and for three hours people got to eat, drink and chat in the elegant rooms of the castle. Whilst listening to the musical entertainment. As well as a chance to walk in the castle gardens.
