70 family and friends joined the baptism service in St Mary Magdalene Church. The photograph shows Evie with her older brother and parents, Amy and Andrew. Welcome to our church family.
He was presented with a cake and retirement gifts by his friends at Lanchester Deanery Synod on the 15th April at St Mary Magdalene Church.We thank Martin for his long service to the deanery and wish him a long and very happy retirement. He will be missed by his colleagues and parishioners.
Duties we need volunteers for include church cleaning, reading the bible during services, writing or reading intercessions, serving refreshments after services, helping to set up church for services. Church is run by a small team of volunteers who give their time freely and willingly to support the work of the church in our community.
