We held a very successful annual church meeting this week, chaired by Archdeacon Libby Wilkinson. There was a good turnout of church members and the Archdeacon commented how this indicated an active and interested church.We are continuing to support the Stanley Foodbank and all contributions are gratefully received.Events this week:Monday, 10am: The gardening team is back! All welcome to help keep the outside of the church looking lovely. Coffee and biscuits for the workers.Friday, 10.30-12noon: Coffee Morning in the hall
Wednesday, May 11, 7pm: Annual Church Meeting, church hall. All welcome to come along and show their support for their church. Friday, May 13, 10.30am-12noon: Coffee Morning, church hall.Looking ahead: plans have now been finalised for our Afternoon Tea in the church hall to celebrate HM the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. This takes place on Friday, June 3. Invitations have now closed as we are at capacity. We ask that those who are coming arrive at 2.30pm for 3pm. The event is scheduled to finished at 5pm.
