It is with regret that we are requesting to close the Church again for the remainder of January. The situation will be reviewed on a monthly basis. We pray that the situation will improve quickly, and for everyone affected by Coronavirus.
Please note that, in line with current guidelines, all visitors are required to wear a face mask or covering throughout their visit to the Church. Thank you for helping us to keep safe.
Holy Trinity Church, Stanton in Peak, plans to open its doors again for public worship on Sunday 6 September at 9.30 am. The service will be a said Morning Prayer as hymns are not currently allowed, with singing being seen as having the potential to spread the virus. A risk assessment has been carried out and approved by the Archdeacon of Derby. Social distancing and hygiene measures will be observed. Please do not attend if you or anyone in your household has any Covid-19 symptoms, or if you or anyone in your household has been in contact with anyone with symptoms. With the lockdown being extended for places of worship, and no revenue for for 6 months, donations would be very welcome. If you feel in a position to make a contribution, please email dianecpeet@hotmail.co.uk for details.Unfortunately, there will be no Harvest Supper this year. A Harvest Service of some sort will take place on 4 October, all being well. A Church Near You will give details of updates on services, events and information.
