COVID-19 The Church continues to be alive and active, but our buildings must close We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling sick with COVID-19. We must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives. Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, all Church buildings in the Church of England are now closed. Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in this building. Please check the Diocese website for information on streaming of services for viewing. You can also find prayer resources at www.churchofengland.org.
We are monitoring the situation and following guidance issued by the Diocese of Derby. Use of the chalice at Holy Communion, hand shaking and serving of refreshments are currently suspended. Unfortunately, it is likely that some services and events will have to be cancelled; we will try to keep the calendar updated. We pray that things will improve soon.
Each Station is based on artwork by Chris Gollon. Details of his work can be found on www.chrisgollon.comWe are very grateful to Chris Gollon's estate for permission to use his work in this way.
