It is an exciting time for Coniston CE Primary school at the moment as the school was recently federated with the high-achieving John Ruskin School, and also recently appointed a new Head of School, Ms. Danielle Fitzsimons. The school is now exploring a new vision for the future development of the school; the ethos and academic excellence for the children; while not forgetting the beautiful setting in which the school finds itself or the local community to which it belongs. Therefore, it was natural that the new Vision should open with the words of the local luminary, John Ruskin. Our Vision 'When love and skill work together expect a masterpiece' John Ruskin“Coniston Church of England Primary is a welcoming, happy and supportive school rooted in faith and love where everyone flourishes through the Christian values of service, stewardship, respect and perseverance. Our understanding of every child allows us to develop their unique gifts and talents. We enjoy learning together within our school family, our community and God's wider world drawing inspiration from our beautiful Lakeland setting and the awe, wonder and joy it creates”
