Wishing year 6 lots of luck in their SATS next week and remember what Rev Tracy said in your worship. Jesus will keep you calm, like he calmed the storm. And you are loved for exactly who you are.
Both Holy Trinity Church Freckleton and St Pauls Warton were delighted to support a prisoner project at Garth Prison Leyland. They've donated lots of kitchen items, mixers, bowls, tea towels, bread maker, spoons, cake tins etc so a new project can take place.
Lovely to have Freckleton C of E Primary School in for their Ascension Day Eucharist. We looked at empty shoes to think about Jesus and the Ascension.Football boots and the winning team remind us of Jesus is the King who now reigns.Comfy Slippers that we wear at home remind us that Jesus is home with his Father and has rescued us and paid the price so we can one day be at home with God too.The sandals are more like the shoes Jesus would have worn when he lived his earthly life. He understands our difficulties and temptations and he is our friend in heaven who prays for us.
A delight to enrol a new member to the Mother's Union today and to give a talk to the group.
