A lovely afternoon tea to celebrate Ella's reign as Rose Queen as she prepares to hand her crown over.Thank you to everyone who has supported her this year in her charitable fundraising and in lots of other ways. Her final duties will be on Club Day in a few weeks' time. Thanks from all of us for our beautiful gifts.
A joy as always to lead worship at Freckleton C of E Primary School. This morning, we thought about the Holy Spirit coming at Pentecost and used objects to represent the different aspects of the Holy Spirit. Then we thought about the fruits of the Spirit and which ones we were blessed with and which ones we needed to work on! Then Mr Kenyon played us a brilliant fruits of the spirit song.
This Sunday is Father John's last Sunday at Holy Family RC Church, Freckleton. Rev Christine, Deacon Kim from Freckleton Methodist Church and myself have had a brilliant ecumenical working relationship with him, so we will be sad to see him go. We look forward to working with Father Stephen when he arrives.We took Father John out for a delicious farewell lunch at The Ship at Freckleton.Wishing you every blessing in your new ministry from all of us.
