The Poinsettia is the flower of Christmas, with its gold centre representing the Star of Bethlehem. Names of loved ones who we miss will be read out at our 11am service this Sunday and again on Christmas morning. Name cards will be placed at the foot of the cross.
We made Nativity characters and figures as we discussed Advent and Christmas and what it means to us this year. The Betty’s cake boxes came in handy for our Nativity displays, and we enjoyed Christmas cake. We then reflected on light in the darkness, the Light and Love of Jesus, listened to music and ended with a time of prayer. Our next meeting is Wednesday 7th January 2026.
It was a lovely time of fellowship as we support each other in our ministries within Pendle Deanery
After a short Act of Worship, the games began followed by food. Great to see adults and children join in the fun. For more pictures click the link. Next session Friday 9th January 2026. Do join us.
