This week we will be praying for those who live in Oakwood Mews and Cross Keys. These are two small areas off St. Peter's Street which could easily not be noticed if you are driving around the area. This week in the churches calendar we think of Peace, so we pray that the people in these two communities may know God's peace in their lives, this Christmas time and in the coming year.
Walton Road like most areas of Roman Hill suffers from a higher than the national average rate of crime.Households in this area have a much lower level of wealth compared to the average household in England and Wales. 97% of analysed areas in England and Wales have higher average household annual income than this area.We pray for each person in Walton Road:May the light of God surrounds them,The love of God enfolds them,The power of God protects them,The presence of God watches over them,Wherever they are, God is,And where God is, all is well. Amen.

Lord, as many in our nation and town begin to prepare their homes for the celebration of Christmas, we pray for those who do not understand that Christmas is about the greatest gift of all: the birth of Jesus, the Son of God. We ask Your blessing upon all who live in Nicholson Square, that their Christmas preparations may remind them of love shared with family and friends. We pray for those who are on their own and others who feel unloved. In the coming weeks may each person in this street be reminded they are loved by God and important to Him. Amen
