We pray this week for the residents of Wollaston Road.This street has mainly terraced housing of which 62% is rented. In the 2021 census when asked about religion 60% answered 'no religion' whilst 31% said they were Christian.We give thanks for the Christian presence in this street and pray that the light of Jesus may shine through these people that others in this road will come to know God's love for themselves.
This week we pray for those who live in Norfolk Street.Situated on the western boundary of our parish, this street consists of predominantly terraced housing lived in by approximately 300 people.In church as we light the fourth candle of advent we think of LOVE. Jesus came into the world to show us God's love for each and every person. There are no barriers to God's love.We pray that the people of Norfolk Street will come to know how much God loves them. We ask that this Christmas time they will experience that love through friends, family and may be in hearing the words of a Christmas carol.
This street consists of 134 address 60% of which are terraced homes and 21% flats. Approximately 47% of the properties were single occupancy at the time of the 2021 census.This week in the churches calendar we light the third candle of advent which signifies JOY.
