St John the Evangelist

St John's Skirwith is part of the East of Eden Mission Community.

Only completed in 1859, English Gothic in architectural style, known as the “Little Cathedral of the Fellside” and where the father of John Bradburne was the parson; Skirwith is a very different church to most of its neighbours!

Enjoy the walk and the company. All welcome, whether or not you normally attend church. Wear walking boots or stout footwear as may be muddy, and bring food and drink to sustain.
