We are a small, friendly church, in the open evangelical tradition of the Church of England.
We meet at 10.30am each Sunday in a picturesque largely Victorian Church in wooded grounds at the end of Church Wood Lane. There is evidence of Christian worship at this site from the 11th century and of a 13th century stone built church; we continue that long line of faith and worship of God in the 21st century.
We seek to love God and neighbour in this part of St Leonard's on Sea. Our vision is that people will come to a living, life-changing faith in Jesus Christ which will affect every dimension of their lives and this community.
SAFEGUARDING
The parish of Hollington: St Leonard is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
