St Alban the Martyr

Welcome to the ACNY page for the church of Saint Alban the Martyr — the Church of England parish church for all the people of Highgate, Birmingham.

We are an inclusive and diverse church with a wide variety of services and activities, some are traditional and some are modern and informal, all within the Affirming Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Whether it is Sung Mass, quiet contemplation or family worship, we have something for you.

We care about our community. We work with Ark St Alban’s Academy where our vicar helps the students. We help Stanhope Wellbeing Hub, Highgate Community Support Ltd and run Highgate United Food Bank. We also welcomed people who are new to this country.

Come an join us at any of our services or activities.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Highgate is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Click the button below for contact details]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
