A service of Holy Communion for Maundy Thursday, when we remember the Passover meal which Jesus shared with his disciples. During that meal, the disciples receive from Jesus the gift of the Holy Communion, the service which has remained at the heart of Christian worship over two thousand years.
Over the night of Maundy Thursday and the early hours of Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ arrest and his trial before the local political and religious leaders and the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate.
