We meet every Sunday at 10 am for morning worship. Most services use the Worship for All order of service, occasionally the Book of Common Prayer is used. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate Holy Communion. On the fifth Sunday we join together to worship with other churches in the Benefice in rotation.

Everyday faith

Discover how we can support you to find and follow God in your everyday life.

St. John's Church hosted a Christmas Tree Festival from 22nd to 24th November, featuring over 30 decorated trees and a winter wonderland scene. Visitors enjoyed refreshments and voted for their favourite tree, with the 'Love Thy Nature' tree winning.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Cranford: St John the Baptist is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Sandra Day on 07854176516 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer Victoria Kellett on 01733 887040 or e-mail [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
