St Margaret's Church
Address
Church Road Halstead Sevenoaks Kent, TN14 7HQ

If you are already part of our family, going to church helps you grow your faith. The messages, the people, the singing, everything about church is designed to help us learn more about God and the Bible and the difference it makes to our lives.

If you are just curious, please come along! We are a friendly bunch. Maybe you need something, life can be tough sometimes. At church, you will receive warmth and encouragement.
A similar service is held at our sister church, St Margaret's Halstead, every other week. Same Rector, even wider church family.

The venue alternates with our sister church, St Katharine's in Knockholt. A great way to meet an even wider community. Please see our websithttps://www.knockholtandhalsteadchurches.org.uk/services.htm

St Margaret's Church

A beautiful building in a picturesque rural setting. We teach the faith of Jesus Christ, as explained in the Bible. We offer services that are lively and fun for families and a more traditional service for those that enjoy it. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and inclusive.

Safeguarding

We believe that:
- children, young people and adults should never experience abuse of any kind.
- we have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk, to keep them safe and to practise in a way that protects them.
We recognise that:
- the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk is paramount in all the work we do and in all the decisions we take.
- all children, young people and adults at risk regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation have an equal right to protection from all types of harm or abuse.
- some children, young people and adults at risk are additionally vulnerable because of the impact of previous experiences, their level of dependency, communication needs or other issues.
- working in partnership with children, young people and adults at risk, their parents, carers and other agencies is essential in promoting their welfare.

If you are concerned that someone connected to our church is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from the link given below, or if the matter is urgent and you believe someone is at immediate risk of harm, please report the matter to the Local Authority Social Services or the Police without delay.
