David came to West Malling in September 2011 and became Team Vicar of the newly created Kent Downs & Malling Team Ministry in August 2022. He will be leaving the Team at the end of the month to take up the post of Vicar of St Luke’s Church, Tunbridge Wells.

David’s farewell service will be held at St Mary’s, West Malling on Sunday 28 July at 4pm. This will be a short service, followed by refreshments. Non benefice and non church orgagisations, that David has had dealings with during his thirteen years ministry in this area have also been invited, and there will be plenty of time after the service for you to say your own personal goodbye to David, Kerry, Bethya, Nathanael and Josiah.

Fellowship is a friendly gathering of those living in the Kent Downs and Malling parishes. Held on the first Thursday of every month in Ryarsh Church hall from 2.00pm to 3.30pm, it is an opportunity to listen to invited speaker, test your knowledge with an informal quick quiz, share in faith and end with refreshments.
A donation of £2 is requested at each session to cover expenses.

We look forward to Carol Bridge joining the Team as Curate, following her Ordination at Rochester Cathedral. Everyone is welcome to attend and no special ticket is required. Carol will overlap with Kelly, who will be ‘signed off’ at the end of November and will then start looking for her next post.
