MEET 11AM SATURDAY 21st September 2024
Church Green ME2 4HE

We have two lovely walks on offer to start the autumn season. There’s no better time for walking. Our next longer walk offers a lovely venture into the countryside as far as Blacklands Farm, with ripe fruit on the trees. The walk is exactly three miles long, and relatively level. The footpaths are dry as of writing, and while the vegetation is lush, the paths are clear.
Our shorter walk of just over two miles will also reach the rural fringe but will return earlier through Wainscott. Both walks will pause at the outdoor gym for those who’d like a little extra exercise.
Dogs on leads welcome; children under 14 must be accompanied. You may wish to carry water and wear sunscreen.

All welcome. Please share, and feel free to invite family, friends and neighbours.
Please note: Please reserve a place by e mailing [email protected]. High-vis straps/harnesses will be available for wear (but are not compulsory).
* Please note all participants walk at their own risk. We may take photos of the adults to share on social media and promote our activities, unless you let us know you do not wish your photo to be taken.

Upnor: St Philip & St James

You are welcome to join us for Sunday services of worship at 8.30am. (1st, 3rd Sundays are Morning Prayer; 2nd Sunday Holy Communion BCP; 4th Sunday Holy Communion).

You will find details of our regular events on these pages. Do email for more information.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Frindsbury with Upnor ad Chattenden is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO https://www.rochester.anglican.org/safeguarding

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO:
Vicki Webster (Parish Safeguarding Officer)
