Revd William Davie was ordained  in the Cathedral as curate to the Parish of South Gillingham, but he is likely to feature more frequently at St Matthew's than at the other churches, especially in his first year as a Deacon, On Sunday 26th September, various members of the congregation presented items representing aspects of a Deacon's ministry to William as part of his official welcome to the parish.

William is married to Karen, they have a 7 month daughter, and they live in Hempstead.
