We have been working towards becoming an Eco Church, which is something coordinated by A Rocha UK, which works in partnership with Christian Aid, The Church of England, Tearfund and other charities. The award covers our worship and teaching, our buildings, our land, our community engagement and global engagement, and our lifestyle. There are three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. We are pleased to announce that St Augustine's church was awarded a Bronze certificate this week. Watch this space for updates. One thing to announce is that we want to have a monthly litter pick in the surrounding streets, to bless our local environment. We will have a simple lunch of soup or similar afterwards. Please get in touch if you would like to help!More information on Eco Church below:https://ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/
