Lent Discussion Group

Occuring
Every Wednesday at for 1 hour
Venue
Bishop Ridley, Falconwood
Address
The Green Welling London, DA16 2PG, United Kingdom

This Lent we will be following along with the Church of England's Dust and Glory resources which explores how we can live well with the mess of everyday life. Dust and Glory encourages us to take a fresh look at the frustrations and failings that every day brings and, rather than pretending we can always avoid them, seek to learn from them and grow closer to God through them. We will meet each Wednesday evening to discuss the readings, reflections and challenge.

Bishop Ridley, Falconwood

We are a community of local Christians of all ages and backgrounds. We love meeting new people and offer a warm welcome to everyone. If you are new to the area or want to find out more about God, then you’re very welcome to come and meet us.

We have services each Sunday at 9am and 10:30am.

Safeguarding

At Bishop Ridley, we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously and are commited to ensuring that our church is a safe space for all. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 999 and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
