Erith: Christ Church

Our Sunday Services are now back in church every Sunday at 10am.

Christ Church is a traditional Anglican Parish Church at the heart of Erith. We are privileged to worship God in a beautiful church building and we strive to profess and live out the Christian faith in the local community. Our church is open to everyone – we are an inclusive church and you will be most welcome. Our Vision is to Grow Church by sharing Christ's peace, love, joy, and hope.

Christ Church Erith is in the Diocese of Rochester.

We have an outstanding church school - Christ Church (Erith) CE VA Primary School. The School offers 360 degree education which develops the whole child, socially, academically and spiritually. Visit http://www.christchurch.bexley.sch.uk for more information.

COME AND SEE WHAT THE LORD CAN DO

Christ Church Erith PCC has formally adopted the House of Bishops safeguarding policy 'Promoting a Safer Church'; We have a Parish Safeguarding Officer for Children and a Parish Safeguarding Officer for Adults.

The parish of Erith: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
