Hiring the Halls or Maxim Room

Please note our halls may be hired for regular bookings only and are no longer available for one-off events, including but not limited to child and adult parties.
St. Martin's has 2 halls (within one building) with shared toilet and kitchen facilities and also another room (called the Maxim room - part of the main church building), which is carpeted but only has limited tea/coffee making facilities.

The large hall is approximately 130 sq metres with 115 metal/plastic seats, the small hall approx. 49 sq metres with 50 metal/plastic seats and the Maxim room 48 sq meters with 40 metal/fabric seats.

The charges (as at January 2023) per hour (or part thereof) are Large Hall £25, Small Hall £19 and Maxim room £19. Setting-up and clearing-up time is included in the hire period.

We already have a large number of regular bookings and these are shown below.

Also on the church site is the 4th Barnehurst (St. Martin's) Scout Group Headquarters. This is a separate hall and is managed by the scout group.
