About Us
We are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive church at the heart of our community. We seek to provide accessible and relaxed worship which enables those who come to feel included and close to God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to be of service to people in our neighbourhood so please feel that you can come and engage with us or ask us to come and see you. Our Ministry Team
On 15th March 2016 The Revd Dr Julie Bowen became Vicar of St Andrew's. Before that she was Curate at St John's Church, Bexley. Her post at St Andrew's is half time so she divides her time between St Andrew's and her duties as Chaplain of St Olave's School, Orpington.
Julie is a qualified teacher and has considerable parish experience. She is married to Revd Gareth Bowen, Vicar of St Martin's, Barnehurst, and has two sons.
We are immensely fortunate to have the continued pastoral support of Revd Elizabeth Davis as Assistant Priest. The Revd Angela King continues to come to us on occasion as well as to Bromley College and other Parishes.
