About Us

St Mary's church endeavours to bring the love of God into the everyday lives of the people of Shortlands.

At the heart of Shortlands in Bromley, St Mary's is a parish church of the Church of England.

Our main service on Sundays is Family Communion at 10.30am, with children's activities in Junior Church and refreshments afterwards.  All are very welcome.

During the week we offer a range of activities for people of all ages.  From our Baby and Toddler Group, to Craft and Mobility Groups, to support groups and our Community Cafe, we do everything with the love of Christ in our hearts and we endeavour to share this love with everyone we meet.

At the moment, St Mary's is temporarily without a vicar, but our services and activities continue as normal.  We extend a warm welcome for you to join us in person, to attend a streamed service online or to use the church for your own private prayer and reflection.
