Chilton Foliat: St Mary

St. Mary's, Chilton Foliat is part of the parish of Whitton. Of the six churches across the parish we are the most traditional in our approach to worship with most of our services being rooted in traditional language.

We have a strong relationship with our C of E Primary School in Stag Hill. Several of our church members are foundation governors at the school. We enjoying offering Collective Worship and 'Open the Book' in school, as well as welcoming the school community to St. Mary's for end of term services.

We have been partnering with the school in offering 'Messy Church'.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
