The next Devizes Deanery choral evensong will take place at St Matthew’s, Rowde, SN10 2PF, at 6 pm on Sunday 30 July. Please join us for what should be a glorious summer evening of prayer, praise, and friendship.
For those who would like to sing, please feel free to turn up to the rehearsal on the day – the rehearsal will start promptly at 4.15 pm. Music will include Psalm 128 from the Parish Psalter Chant, the Morley Mag and Nunc, and Walmsey’s ‘From all who dwell below the skies’.
Peter Madeley of St Mary the Virgin, Bishops Cannings will play the organ and conduct the choir. The Rev’d Gerry Lynch will sing the service and preach.
There will be drinks and nibbles afterwards.
