ST MARY’S WINGFIELD in the Diocese of Salisbury, is a listed building with a 15th Century tower. The earliest recorded Rector, Thomas Shawebure, was appointed in 1313. St Mary’s has served the village ever since. We are a very open, friendly and welcoming village church, very much rooted in our community - and in a very beautiful setting. And we are enjoying an increasing number of weddings and christenings, and so do please contact the Rector if you might be interested. In a village with no community space, we are now holding both our hugely successful Church Fete in June and our Harvest Supper at the Poplars Inn. The beautifully restored church is always open, so we look forward to seeing you soon!
