Everyone, especially children, are invited to St Peter’s for a special weekend of activities and displays explaining the church which has served the Monkton Farleigh community for over 900 years. Items on display will include vestments, archive photographs and information about the history of the church building.
Explore the church with the background of music from our organists.
There will be plenty for children to enjoy with quizzes inside and outside the church and a dressing up area. They can also learn about St Peter and see his fishing boat.
Teas and delicious home-made cakes will be available.
To conclude this celebration all are welcome to join us for evensong at 5 pm on Sunday, 14 July.
Entrance is free but donations are welcomed.
Please bring cash as we will not be able to accept card payments.
