Christingles have been around since the 1700s. A Christingle Service is held in Church on a Sunday before Christmas. During the service we receive a lighted Christingle and in the darkened Church, this visual symbol reminds us that Jesus is the light who came into the world at Christmas.

This festive service is very popular and an ideal way to join in with the celebration of Christmas, even if you do not regularly come to church.

Tea and cake will be served after the service.
