Sunday 25th June 2023: ALL AGE WORSHIP SERVICE @ 10.30am

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
Hilperton: St Mary Magdalen's
Address
Hilperton: St Mary Magdalen's, Horse Road Hilperton, BA14 7PG, United Kingdom

We are having an all-age Worship Service with a difference in St Mary Magdalen’s Church on the theme of the 23rd Psalm. I have been Chaplain to the Hilperton Scout Group and members have been invited to the service, which is for everyone; it will include the return of my Chaplain’s staff to mark my retirement from this role. Weather permitting, we will begin in the church garden (with chairs in the patio area as well as on the grass) with a short act of worship. Instead of a sermon, there will be the choice of either taking part in an outdoor trail or joining a small group inside to think about different parts of the Psalm. We will come together at the end to reflect on what we have learned and conclude our worship, following which refreshments will be available. ALL WELCOME

Whaddon: St Mary the Virgin

"The parish of Hilperton and Staverton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
