Working together with the Bradford on Avon Dementia Action Alliance, and alongside Alzheimer's Support and the Bradford on Avon Health Centre, the monthly Forget me Not Café is a tremendous and very popular use for our wonderful recently restored church facility. The Café sadly had to close for Covid, but now thrives once again. There is a 'sister' very successful monthly Forget Me not Café at the 'Dog and Fox' (Ashley Road, Bradford on Avon) on the first Thursday afternoon (3-4.30pm) of the month. The Holy Trinity Café takes place on the third Thursday morning (11am-12.30pm), and is open to anyone who is elderly and would like some company. The formula is very simple:
• A smiling and friendly welcome from trained volunteers
• The informal and supportive presence of the Health Centre and Alzheimer’s Support staff
• Home-made cakes and sandwiches and freshly brewed tea and coffee on tap
• Attractive tables with table-cloths and flowers
• Lots of chat and fun - meeting old friends and new – and an understanding atmosphere where people can relax
• A monthly activity – eg bulb planting, singing, crafts, board-games

Our annual Christmas Tree Festival, this year, 10th - 15th December, is a wonderful way of gathering the community, honouring and promoting a range of charities at work in the area. Come and see! Thank you to all who prepare for this event, for lifting our prayers, hearts and minds to those in need at this time, in the sanctity of this holy and glorious place. Enjoy the accompanying music, mince pies and mulled wine too! Something for everyone. Bring friends, family, companions! Hark the Herald!
