The parish of Atworth with Shaw and Whitley covers the village of Atworth with its traditional chapel-like church of St Michael and All Angels and the villages of Shaw and Whitley with its church of Christchurch which has recently undergone a radical change to its interior replacing Victorian pews with solid wood chairs. It is in a rural setting but close to the city of Bath and has easy access to the M4.
