Harnham: St George's, All Saints' and Messy Church
Welcome to Harnham Parish. We are a friendly, Church of England community that meets in two different churches in Harnham: St George’s, Lower Street and All Saints, Harnham Rd. Please visit our main parish website for more details about us and an up to date calendar of events and services www.harnhamparish.org.uk Our monthly services and events lists are also uploaded as news images on this page, under the menu section.
We are part of the Messy Church network; our Messy Church families meet on the second Sunday of the month (except August) at 3pm in the Parish Hall. All ages and types of family format are welcome, a responsible adult needs to stay with children, and are encouraged to take part. Adults are very welcome to come without children.
Our recently renovated hall is open for new bookings. It is regularly used by both community groups and is available for private hire. There is a large, light hall, a smaller meeting room and a new kitchen to professional catering standard. You can hire the meeting room separately from the main hall. Please contact the office for enquiries on 07925 108856 or [email protected]
We partner with the Harnham Community Network who provide the Harnham Harvest table tackling food poverty in the local area.
We are a supportive, friendly group of people, who care about our faith lived out in the community; Living, learning and loving through Christ. Do come along to a service either on a Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning or any Sunday and you will be sure of a warm welcome.
Harnham Parish Churches takes it's responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.
