We are starting to make plans for the appointment of a new Team Vicar in the White Horse Team, following the departure of Caroline Husband. We are planning a half day at Westbury Leigh Community hall on Saturday 18 January starting at 10.00 am and finishing by 2.30 pm. This is for all our church members and all from our communities who are interested in this appointment.

There will be a time of worship and prayer. We shall be taking stock and reviewing our current situation. We shall be sharing what our Archdeacon Alan has shared with us about the future of this role. We shall be looking at what the opportunities are with this new appointment and seeking God’s will as we look to the future. We shall also be setting out how the appointment procedure works and all that we have to do before we can advertise the role.

Lunch will be included and time to mix with other members of our parishes: to renew old friendships and make new ones.

This is an important time for our Team and we would like as many people involved as possible.

In January, we shall need to know numbers for catering purposes. Please try to keep this time free and make every effort to come along.

In the meantime, please pray for all of us as we go through this vacancy. Some of us are bearing extra responsibilities during this time, including our Churchwardens, Ministry Team and Lay Worship leaders.
