We will be holding a service at Holy Trinity Church 6pm during which an imposition of ashes will be made. This traditional way of marking the season of Lent begins with observing the rite of public penance when we acknowledge our grief caused by erring from the way of Christ. We are marked with a cross in the ancient practice of covering ourselves in ashes.
