Hindon: St John the Baptist

Welcome to St John the Baptist Hindon. We're a friendly church and our services are held every Sunday. We serve the village of Hindon and are part of a parish that includes Chicklade and Pertwood as well.

You'll find us at the top of Hindon High Street and the church is open every day from around 9 am until 4.30pm

You'll find space to pray and play, details of our churchyard, and a lovely church to enjoy.

We have disabled access and facilities and are dog friendly. Do come and visit us - everyone is welcome.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Hindon w Chicklade & Pertwood: St John the Baptist is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Mrs Emma Janes [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor https://www.salisbury.anglican.org/safeguarding. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
