The Reverend Mark Hayter is to be Commissioned as Rural Dean of Chalke during Choral Evensong at Fovant on Sunday 17th July, beginning at 1800.The service will be sung by the Team Rector and the choir of Tisbury Parish Church led by Stuart Robinson (Preces and Responses, by Richard Seal; Canticles: Tone VIII.i and Tone V.i with Fauxbourdon by Thomas Morley; anthem: "View me, Lord, a work of thine!" by Richard Lloyd).The preacher will be the Archdeacon of Sarum, the Venerable Alan Jeans MBE, who will also be Commissioning the new Rural Dean.There will be NO Evensong at Hindon on that day.
