After months of planning and consultation, we are delighted to announce that our contractors began work on the restoration of our Lych Gate War Memorial for the fallen in both world wars.

The War Memorial was built and dedicated soon after the First World War. After the Second World War, an additional panel was added to the rear, commemorating the lives lost in that war. 

The Memorial has deteriorated slowly over the last 100 years, and suffered a blow from the flagpole that blew over in the gales of 2022, damaging the roof.
